6th Class History Trip

Our 6th Classes recently visited the G.P.O. and Glasnevin Cemetery as part of their history studies. It was a really interesting and enjoyable day out. The children learned all about the 1916 Rising on a behind-the-scenes tour at the G.P.O. At Glasnevin, they learned all about the history of the cemetery and some of the famous people buried there, such as Daniel O’Connell and Michael Collins.
