Planting Potatoes

It’s March and that means that if you want to sow potatoes, now is the time to do it! Last week Mr Hartnett and a group of children from various classes in the school got their hands dirty doing just that. They recycled an old tyre and used it to plant the spuds in. These will be early potatoes, which means that they should be ready to eat before the summer holidays in June. Watch this space….
