Scoil Bhride’s Got Talent 2026

Scoil Bhride’s Got Talent 2026

On Wednesday and Thursday 22nd and 23rd of April our school hosted a talent show for the junior side, the senior side and the parents of our school. Everyone enjoyed the show immensely and the performers did an excellent job, well done!

We had wonderful MC’s representing the three 5th classes: Ava and Lucy, Grace and Abbygail, Lily and Emmeline from M. Margaret’s class; Áine and Kitty, Victoria and Hannah, Eli and Shea from M. Patricia’s class and Kate and Fia from M. Aisling’s class. They introduced each performer with confidence and comedy, well done!

First up on the stage were Abbie, Sofia, Emmeline, Sarah and Lily from M. Margaret’s 5th Class who recreated the school anthem to the tune of “Killeagh”. They wrote the words themselves and sang it beautifully on the stage.

The performers on the stage over the two days were:

  • Abbie Lambe from M. Margaret’s 5th class sang a lovely rendition of “Pink Pony Club”
  • Margaret Regan, Kate Santonacci, Robyn Smith, Ava Mahon and Sophia Zeimert Homan from M. Aoife’s 4th class wrote and performed a rap about our school.
  • Reya Nolan from M. Gillian’s 6th class sang “Hopelessly Devoted to You” wonderfully.
  • Freya Johnson from M. Siobhán/Amy’s 6th Class sang “A Million Dreams” to an amazed audience.
  • Joey Gibbons from M. Cian’s 4th class played Jon Bovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” excellently.
  • Libby Dignam, Diane O’Connor and Robyn O’Shaughnessy from M. Aisling’s 5th class performed a fantastic Irish dance on the stage, which Libby taught the two girls!
  • Andrija Mihajlovic from M. Gerard’s 4th class surprised everyone by playing “Riptide” on the ukulele behind his head!
  • Alice Murray from M. Patricia’s 5th class sang “Mercy” amazingly on the stage.
  • Billy McCormack from M. Áine’s 6th Class rounded up the performances with his stunning performance of “Don’t Let me Down”.

Our school choir closed the show with a real treat. They performed some of the songs they sang on Thursday, when they travelled to Dublin for The Big Sing.

Overall the school talent show was a great success. The children did such a great job preparing and practicing for the show and on the day itself. Well done to you all. Thanks to the teachers also for making it happen: M. Sheila, M. Aoife, M. Jennifer, M. Aisling and M. Margaret.
