Scoil Bhríde will hold a Wellness Week, the first of its kind in the school, from Monday, November 13th to Friday, November 17th. There will be a variety of activities taking place in the school, with the aim of promoting the social, emotional and physical well being of the students and staff. Students will bring information sheets and activity booklets home during the week and we are encouraging parents to get involved at home. History was made again this week, as for the first time, our school holds the boys and girls U11 Cumann na mBunscol trophies! The U11 boys defeated Racthcoffey NS in a close encounter on Thursday the 22th of October! Congrats to all involved!
Scoil Bhríde celebrated Maths Week from October 16th to October 20th. Storm Ophelia did not dampen our spirits. Teachers and pupils made a huge effort to prepare maths displays for the corridor. Students took part in many activities such as maths trails and quizzes. Our Senior students visited the Junior classes as park of 'class links' to play maths games. It was a very enjoyable week. Thanks to everyone for making such a big effort, I hope everyone enjoyed the week.
