The 22nd February is the joint birthday of the Founder of the Irish Girl Guides – Lord Baden Powell and his wife – Olave Baden Powel, World Chief Guide. Every year on that day, Girl Guides around the world celebrate World Thinking Day. To raise awareness of the excellent work of the Irish Girl Guides, members of the Girls Guides will wear the Girl Guide uniform today.
All at Scoil Bhríde congratulates all who are involved in the Irish Girl Guides especially the volunteers who act as leaders in this wonderful association.
