Every Chinese New Year, our Chinese students and friends decorate their houses with red lanterns and bells. During the festival Chinese stories are read to the children. The children’s parents give them little red envelopes with coins inside. They fly kites. They eat Chinese food with chopsticks and finish with moon cakes. All at Scoil Bhríde wish our Chinese students and friends a very happy Chinese New Year!
