Event: Cyber Bullying

With technology changing at such a rapid pace, children need to be aware of appropriate behaviour online. It is the responsibility of the adults to educate and monitor children’s internet use, to ensure their safety.

The children of 4th, 5th and 6th classes in Scoil Bhríde will participate in ‘anti-cyber bullying’ and ‘internet safety’  lessons during the months of January and February 2016.

Today, we invite a member of ‘Cyber Bullying Talks Ireland’ to the school. He will facilitate workshops for the 4th, 5th and 6th classes during the school day. Immediately after school, he will facilitate some in-service training for the teaching staff. At 7:30pm, he will do a presentation for parents and guardians in the school hall. All are welcome!
