‘Parenting – the challenges and the rewards’ by John Lonergan on November 6th at 7:30p.m
You are all invited to the school hall on Thursday 6th November at 7:30 p.m. for the Parent Teacher Association AGM.
Following the short AGM the PTA is delighted to welcome John Lonergan to present a talk for parents.
‘Parenting – the challenges and the rewards’ is based on a parenting book John had published last year called ‘Parenting – raising your child in Ireland today’. The book looks at the challenges and rewards of being a parent in modern Ireland. Based on his own experience as a father and grandfather, John Lonergan, the former governor of Mountjoy Prison, details how parenting is by far the most difficult and complex task anyone will ever undertake in their life.
He will bring copies of the book with him and all royalties are going to Barnardos.
