Class trip to Glasnevin Cemetery
- 6th class children recently went on a school trip to Glasnevin Cemetery where they had a fantastic guided tour of the graves of key figures from Irish history. This tour really helped the children’s learning on the 1916 Easter Rising come to life.

‘Scoil Bhríde- Innealtóir Iontach
The children in 6th class participated in ‘Scoil Bhríde- Innealtóir Iontach,’ an exciting Engineering
competition within the school. The theme of the competition 6th class students was to construct a robotic arm. We were blown away by their design, creativity and dedication our students put into this competition. Well done to everybody involved.

M. Orla’s 6th Class
Sixth class have been learning about the universe, the solar system and the phases of the moon. They then created these projects based on what they learned. Students used lots of materials including styrofoam, wool, cocktail sticks, wire, clothes hangers, clay, air dough, Christmas baubles, ping pong balls, Lego and even a motor powered moon! We think they are ‘out of this world!!’ Absolutely amazing work and creativity by all involved !! Well done to everyone!
